Since the days of John the Baptist, the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence and the violent takes it by force. Matthew 11:12. You may have prayed once, twice or thrice but have not received an answer to your prayer. Do not sit aloof. Do not be quiet. Get up, shake up and keep praying.
You may think you are waiting on the Lord but in actual fact, he is the one waiting for you. If you sit and say you have prayed so you will be quiet and wait, you may be making a mistake. Keep praying. Do not stop praying. Jesus fasted and prayed for 40 days and 40 nights. How long have you fasted, how long have you prayed? Do not quit praying as you try to live a holy life.
Fight and fight hard with prayers and a holy life. Do not forget what the Bible says—the violent takes it by force.
Nothing good is achieved on a silver platter. Even Jesus did not have it easy until he conquered all. Fast, by fasting you are denying yourself pleasures of the flesh to get closer to God.
God does not take these sacrifices for granted. If only you do it with a sincere and humble heart and continue living a holy life. Your struggles shall not be in vain.
Cry if you need to but do not talk so much about your problems to people. Rather talk to the Holy Spirit. Yes chat with him. Hear what he has to say and follow his counsel. He is always with us. Be encouraged, do not give quit, do not let go until it is finished.
You are blessed!
